NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) _ The Tennessee Titans feel as rested as anyone can after a week off from the NFL. Now they are back at work, eager to chase this franchise's first playoff berth since 2008.
Cornerback Jason McCourty said Monday the bye week always feels like it comes at a great time. The Titans (3-4) went into their bye losing three straight to teams with a combined 18-3 record.
McCourty says everything the Titans want remains possible and now it's time to see what they can do in the upcoming weeks.
Coach Mike Munchak and other team officials attended a memorial service for owner Bud Adams in Houston, but the Titans got a workout Monday focusing on areas they need to improve before visiting St. Louis on Sunday.
