(Portland, TN) -- The possibility of below freezing temperatures may affect strawberry crops in Portland.
WKRN-TV is reporting that employees at Bradley Kountry Acres have been trying to cover about four acres of strawberries. They told the station that freezing temperatures can kill the buds of plants that have already bloomed.
