After months of speculation, former Tennessee Governor Phil Bredesen has launched his bid for the United Sates Senate. The announcement comes as Bredesen releases a campaign video simply titled "Why I'm Running"
Bredesen served as Governor for 2 terms from 2003 until 2011. Prior to that he was Mayor of Nashville from 1991 until 1999.
