(Murfreesboro, TN) The suspected gunman in a shooting that happened Wednesday Night near the Middle Tennessee Statue University Campus is in the custody of Murfreesboro Police.
Emmett "Trey" Lyons III has been charged with attempted first degree murder and is currently being held on $250,000 bond at the Rutherford County Sheriff's Department.
The shooting occured on Greenland Drive early Wednesday evening, where Cory Brewer went for help and was later taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville where he is listed in critical but stable condition.
