THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR MIDDLE TENNESSEE. .DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT. NO HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS EXPECTED AT THIS TIME. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY.

Severe Outlook Sunday:
THERE IS A SLIGHT RISK FOR SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WEST OF A SPRINGFIELD TO LAWRENCEBURG LINE FROM LATE SUNDAY THROUGH SUNDAY NIGHT. DAMAGING WINDS AND LARGE HAIL ARE THE MAIN THREATS.

Monday Severe Weather Threat:
SEVERE WEATHER POTENTIAL WILL INCREASE MONDAY AND MONDAY NIGHT. THERE IS A MODERATE RISK OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS FOR AREAS WEST OF A DOVER TO DICKSON TO WAYNESBORO LINE AND A SLIGHT RISK FOR THE REST OF MIDDLE TENNESSEE. TORNADOES...DAMAGING WIND GUSTS AND HAIL AREA ALL POSSIBLE DURING THIS PERIOD.

Tuesday Severe Weather Threat:
SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WILL REMAIN POSSIBLE ON TUESDAY...ESPECIALLY DURING THE AFTERNOON AS A COLD FRONT PASSES THROUGH. DAMAGING STRAIGHT LINE WINDS APPEARS TO BE THE MAIN THREAT AT THIS TIME. IN ADDITION TO THE SEVERE WEATHER FLASH FLOODING IS ALSO A THREAT. TWO TO 4 INCHES OF RAIN IS EXPECTED FROM LATE SUNDAY THROUGH TUESDAY WITH LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS POSSIBLE. VERY HIGH RAINFALL RATES WILL BE POSSIBLE WITH THESE THUNDERSTORMS AND SOME FLASH FLOODING IS POSSIBLE. .SPOTTER CALL TO ACTION STATEMENT... REPORTS FROM TRAINED WEATHER SPOTTERS WILL BE NEEDED THROUGHOUT THIS ACTIVE PERIOD. A FULL MTEARS AMATEUR RADIO ACTIVATION IS LIKELY SOMETIME DURING THE DAY MONDAY A WELL. $$

Heavy rains with totals close to or exceeding 4 inches are possible over the next few days with flooding concerns increasing.
