Dan Eidem has worked for Nashville's NewsRadio 1510 WLAC since 1998, serving as a news anchor and reporter before being promoted to News Director in 2008. Since graduating from the Boston campus of CSB School of Broadcasting, Dan has enjoyed a long and successful career in broadcasting. He can list providing nationwide coverage of Hurricane Katrina for Clear Channel Radio and reporting for the BBC among his achievements. Dan has worked in all facets of radio, from being an Operations Manager in Minneapolis to Anchor/Reporter and On-Air Personality in Nashville. His experiences range from emceeing Sesame Street Live to delivering breaking news and weather updates to coordinating satellite and local programming. His excellence in broadcasting was recognized with nominations in 2004, 2005 and 2006 as Newscaster of the Year for the Nashville Achievement in Radio Awards.

On the weekends when I'm not gathering the news for WLAC and the Tennessee Radio Network, I play in an 80's tribute band called Bueller (www.buellerband.com). This past Saturday, we headed south to Huntsville, Alabama to play for a wedding reception at the Ledges Country Club. Oddly enough, it was specifically noted in the contract to NOT play Sweet Home Alabama! Here are some highlights from the gig...
