(HOUSTON, TX) – HCSO Homicide investigators have released composite sketches of two capital murder suspects in hopes that someone knows who and where they are.
On Monday, August 6, 2012 at approximately 3 a.m., HCSO deputies responded to a shooting at an apartment complex located at 9001 Jones Rd. When deputies arrived they found 28-year-old Alexander Segura injured from apparent gunshot wounds sustained during a robbery. Segura was transported to Ben Taub Hospital where he died from his injuries.
According to investigators, Segura and a female companion were sitting in a vehicle at the apartment complex when two black males wearing dark clothing and hoodies approached them. The couple was robbed at gunpoint; Segura was shot while chasing the suspects after the robbery.
Suspect # 1 is described as a dark-skinned black male, slight build, between 5’7” and 5’11” in height, and in his twenties. The second suspect is described as a light to medium-skinned black male, average build, approximately 5’11” in height, and in his late teens to early twenties.
